Laos, in general, gets better the more time you spend there. :pAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15647147.post-1147745432009445202006-05-16T10:10:00.000+08:002006-05-16T10:10:00.000+08:00San Fernando, like many Philippine cities, is badl...San Fernando, like many Philippine cities, is badly planned. You have one main road, MacArthur Highway, and all the establishments just locate along that road. Good thing SM and Robinson's located outside the crowded area and for that, San Fernando was able to avoid becoming chaotic like Manila.

Traffic is well managed as well. One thing we are proud of in San Fernando is the fact that motorized tricycles are not alllowed in the poblacion. At the same time, an ordinance protects the architectural heritage of the historic center.Ivan Henareshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08952639023631049082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15647147.post-1147734582657939652006-05-16T07:09:00.000+08:002006-05-16T07:09:00.000+08:00Hey Ivan! Your country has a lot to offer and backpackers are actually the best travelled group that knows how to respect a place. Once a place becomes popular (touristy), backpackers tend to move on and explore other unchartered territories.

Out of curiosity, is San Fernando (Pampanga) becoming to be another chaotic city like Manila? I hope it's not going towards that direction.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15647147.post-1145622225590741132006-04-21T20:23:00.000+08:002006-04-21T20:23:00.000+08:00Wow!
