Javea is a lovely town and you're right, it has a great beach. There is a live webcam of Javea's Arenal Beach provided by the council that you will find here http://www.javeavillas.co.uk. One thing you were so near and just missed out on is a really lovely art gallery, Isabel Bilbao http://www.isabelbilbao.com/ , and I recommend it for the local art they show with some fantastic seascapes.
